Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a fun and effective way for kids to build confidence, get fit, and learn valuable life skills. BJJ teaches self-defense techniques that help children feel safe and secure. It also improves physical fitness, coordination, and flexibility while promoting mental focus and discipline. Through training, kids learn to solve problems, stay calm under pressure, and develop resilience. BJJ fosters a positive, supportive community where kids make new friends and build teamwork skills.

Kids Jiu Jitsu is a educational and entertaining way for students to handle unwelcome threats or assaults. Beyond the competition that is part of Jiu Jitsu, our program also teaches kids how to apply these skills and techniques for practical and useful self-defense. Our teachers help make them aware as well of the limits of using these techniques and what it's not for. Through our Kids Jiu Jitsu program, students will:

  • Develop an understanding of different Jiu Jitsu techniques
  • Know how to defend themselves assertively and not aggressively
  • Look out for one another and protect each other in the face of dangerous situations
